IAB now lets you choose among the best doctors and hospitals in the world for medical procedures and get huge savings in the meantime.  The new benefit is called Medical Tourism-- leaving the U.S. to get health care with quality at least as good or better than what's available near home, and a lot more affordable. 

Every step of your medical journey will be facilitated by WorldMed Assist, a leading medical travel company that IAB chose because of its strong value for quality medical care and its patient-centric capabilities.

WorldMed Assist's facilities, now in India, Korea, Mexico, Costa Rica, Turkey and Belgium, are carefully vetted.  New facilities are added only after an intense, multi-day, onsite evaluation that looks deeply into quality, training and experience of its medical personnel and ensures the facilities are comparable to those in the U.S.

All IAB members are eligible for health care at top hospitals in WorldMed Assist's network.  There's no waiting, nothing to sign up for.  

 Once you make the phone call to WorldMed Assist, they will match your medical needs and personal preferences with a choice of top hospitals and doctors.  As soon as you have made your selection, WorldMed Assist will take care of everything except packing your suitcase.  For example, the WorldMed Assist team will:

1        Transfer your medical records and arrange a conference call between you and the doctor you select.

2        Assist with all financial and travel arrangements to get you to your destination.

3        Schedule your pre-surgery tests.

4        Stay in close touch throughout treatment and recovery, and keep your friends and family back home informed of progress until you're ready to return home.
